SIR JOHN BOURN KCB

Sir John Bourn is a former Comptroller and Auditor General of the United Kingdom . He was a member of the board of the Financial Reporting Council and the Chairman of its Professional Oversight Board. Sir John is a Visiting Professor at the London School of Economics and is also a Governor of the School.

PROFESSOR IAN PERCY CBE LLD CA (President)

Ian Percy is a former senior partner of Grant Thornton, President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, and Chairman of the Accounts Commission for Scotland and of Audit Scotland . He was awarded a CBE for service to the accountancy profession and local government and is Honorary Professor of Accounting at Aberdeen University , Scotland .

LORD SMITH OF KELVIN

Lord Smith is the author of the Smith Guidance on Audit Committees. He is currently Chairman of The Weir Group plc and Scottish and Southern Energy, as well as a Non-Executive Director of 3i Group plc, Standard Bank Group Ltd and Aegon UK plc. He is also Chancellor of the University of the West of Scotland and Patron of the Scottish Community Foundation.

SIR BRYAN NICHOLSON GBE

Sir Bryan Nicholson is a former Chairman of the Financial Reporting Council, the Manpower Services Commission, the Post Office, BUPA and Cookson Group plc. He was also President of the CBI and Chair of the Council and Pro-Chancellor of the Open University.
